Works - Calor Gas, Canvey Island
In 2010 Sussex Blast Cleaning was contracted to complete both blast cleaning and coating systems at the Calor Gas terminal on Canvey Island. The tasks involved working on bulk storage facilities, piping and gas valves, both in the terminal and on the estuary wharf and jetty, working to specifications that provided ultimate protection for this estuary location.
The Sussex Blast Cleaning Staff, being ICAT trained and registered along with all other Health and Safety requirements for the site, were idealy suited to complete the assignment working alongside the Calor Gas Staff.
The project was concluded to the total saisfaction of the Customer who praised the company on their enthusiam and effeciency to finish the task quickly with their prescence on site being hardly noticed apart from the fine quality of their work.
